Fannie C. Jackson was born February 17, 1934 in Butler, Georgia to the late Robert Little and Minnie Harris. She was educated in the public schools of Butler, Georgia, where she began to cultivate her love for cooking and strong work ethic. She was employed by Cleveland State University for over 20 years and retired as head chef. After her beloved husband retired, they relocated to Sumter, South Carolina. Her precious memories will be cherished by: a son, Curley Jackson; grandchildren, Aaliyah Jackson and Jahmeel Jackson; three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 2411 Four Bridges Road, Sumter., Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Sammie D. Simmons, Pastor of St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Church, Eulogist. The Funeral procession will leave the home at 11:20 a. m. Burial will be in the St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Church Yard Cemetery, 2280 Four Bridges Road, Sumter.
