Alfonzo Colclough was born January 9, 1948 in Sumter. He was the son of the late Geneva Amanda Colclough. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He was educated in the Public School System of Sumter County. Mr. Colclough was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter. He leaves to mourn his passing: one sister, Geneva Ruthann Colclough and one brother, Elijah Colclough, Sr. of Sumter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the family home, 350 Harmony Court, Apt 1, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, 11:30 a. m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1275 Oswego Highway (Highway 401), Sumter, with the Rev. Daniel Bennett, Pastor, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10:30 a. m. for viewing until time of services The procession will leave the family home at 11:00 a. m. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Yard Cemetery.
