Welcome to Williams Funeral Home

God will never put too much on you, as He knows you will not be able to carry the weight or heavy load by yourself. He will come and ease your burden. God came on last Thursday, May 26, 2023 at 6:30 a. m. at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, to take Elder Jerry L. McCall from his earthly home to his heavenly home. No task was ever too great for him, and his generosity with helping others was widely known throughout the community. Elder Jerry’s religious beliefs took him to Grant Hill Baptist Church, Mt. Sinai Holiness, New Birth and Restoration Ministries. He leaves great memories of the life he lived to Elizabeth of New York; his two sons, Randy (Dina) McCall of Dalzell and Kevin McCall of Rembert; one daughter, Kimberly McCall of New York; two brothers, Elder Clarence (Alethia) of Rembert and Olin (Cherry) McCall of Springfield, VA; two sisters, Ann McCall of the home and Mary (Earl) Singleton of Sumter; a special niece, Latoya McCall of the home and a special cousin, Leroy Mack of Rembert; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one aunt, Azalie Williams of Newark, NJ; one uncle, Clifton Mack of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during limited visitations at the home, 6510 Dinkins Mill Road, Rembert.
