Christopher David Haynesworth, affectionately known as, “Harvey” and “Baby Boy” departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Christopher was born in Sumter on September 23, 1961, to the late Marcus Haynesworth, Sr. and Essie Mae Davis Haynesworth. He graduated from Sumter High School with the Class of 1980. He was employed by Korn Industries and operated his own landscaping business. He was a friendly and outgoing person who never met a stranger. His hobbies were fishing, dancing, and talking with people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus Haynesworth, Sr. and Essie Mae Davis Haynesworth; six brothers, Marcus, Jr., Thomas, James, Arthur, George, and Charles. Christopher leaves to cherish his precious memories: a son, David (Latoya) McWilliams; one brother R. Ronald (Vicky) Haynesworth, five grandchildren, Shaleek, Michelle, Londyn, Skylar, and Jamir; one aunt, Katie Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during all visitation at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Vicky Haynesworth, 909 Clay Street, Sumter. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a. m., Monday, July 11, 2022 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Debbie Bowens-Davis, Officiating.
