Robert Paul Daniels, 51, transitioned from this life on Sunday, March 27, 2022. He was born in Sumter, December 12, 1970, the son of Rovenia June Daniels Dinkins and the late Julius Daniels. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. Paul was an artist and could draw anything and assisted in many projects of family and friends. He was very interesting and had a very unique way of looking at the world. He had a laugh that was contagious and even if he made you angry you couldn’t stay that way. Paul will be dearly missed and left to cherish his memories are his mother, Rovenia Dinkins; sisters, Maxine Johnson (Tal Johnson, spouse), Karen Dinkins and Janella Dinkins (Marion Joshua, spouse); two brothers, Eric June and Darren Dinkins; three nephews, Tal Johnson, Jr., Nicholas Peoples and Noah Peoples; two nieces, Briana Johnson and Amelia Peoples, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitations at the home. Viewing will be 1:00 - 6:00 p. m., Friday, in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc. The procession will leave from the home at 12:30 p. m. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Minister Joe Hughes, Eulogist.
