Welcome to Williams Funeral Home

My name is Lillian Ernestine Peay Massey, better known as “Doll Baby”. I was born on September 21, 1937 in Lugoff. My parents, Willie and Mattie Peay preceded me in death. I attended school in South Carolina and graduated. I moved to New York City, and was gainfully employed as a store manager at Alexander’s Department Store for 25 years. I met and married Robert O. Massey, who preceded me in death. We had two children, Vincent Dumont and Samanthia Massey. I departed life on November 28, 2021 in my hometown, Lugoff. I leave to cherish my precious memories: my daughter, Samanthia; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Truesdale; a host of nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 44 Boulware Road, Lugoff. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Unity Family Life Center, 241 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, with the Rev. John Dicks, Sr., Pastor, officiating. Remains will be placed in the Church at 11:00 a. m. for viewing until time of service. The procession will leave from the home at 11:30 a. m.
