Samuella Dinkins-Riley, 86, was born on October 23, 1934 in Rembert to the late Stony and Elise Robinson Dinkins. God called her home on September 30, 2021. Samuella accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a member of Rafting Creek Baptist Church, Rembert. She received her education in the public schools of Sumter County. She worked in the Health Care Field for many years until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters and sons, Ruby Mayes (Bobby), Elaine Aston, Henry Alston (Sandy), Lillie Alston-Sanders (Billy), Mary Machelle Riley (Robert), Macon Riley Jr. and a bonus son, Ranson Brunson and daughter, Rhona Femister-Vega; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Willie Mae Williams (Lamont), Clarissa Dinkins, Bertha Dinkins, Mary Right; one brother, Frank Dinkins; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law, cousins and dear friends. In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a. m., Friday, October 8, 2021 at Rafting Creek Baptist Church, 3860 Highway 261 North, Rembert, with the Rev. Melvin Mack, pastor, officiating. The procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m.
