Sheron Debra Mayrant, 63, of Sumter, passed away on September 6, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. She was born to parents Frank Ellerbe and Josephine Dennis Ellerbe on April 20, 1958 in Sumter. She attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Hillcrest High School, Class of 1978. Sheron worked as a Food service manager for 15 years at IGA. Sheron was joined in matrimony to her late husband, Filton Mayrant of 27 years on November 29, 1993. Together they raised 3 children, Tyisha, Edward Mayrant and Priscilla Prayleau. Sheron is survived by list of survivors: her mother, Josephine Dennis Ellerbe; five sisters, Ivy Mack, Angela, Victoria, Joyce, and Veronica Ellerbe; four brothers, Frank (Melanie) Ellerbe, Oliver (Pat) Ellerbe, Timothy Ellerbe, Christopher Ellerbe; eight grandchildren; twenty two nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 4625 Black River Road, Rembert. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m., Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Harry Clark, officiating. The procession will leave at 1:20 p. m. from the home,
