Raymond Davis, Sr., 61, was born on December 12, 1958, in Sumter, to the late Jessie J. Davis and Marie Davis Durant. He departed this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home in Sumter. He was educated at Sumter High School. Raymond was a man of God and a family man who enjoyed singing in the choir. Raymond was a loving husband, father and brother. He was married to Deloris Holloman Davis for 38 years and was blessed with four children. Raymond worked at Model Dye as a machine operator, Florence Concrete, Sumter Metal and Interlake as a welder for many years. He was recently employed at Sumter County Government as a maintenance worker and at the Sumter Police Department. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Deloris Davis; one daughter, Laytoria (Charlie) Rutherford and four grandchildren, all of Stafford, VA; two sisters, Barbara (Kevin) Pinkney of Columbia and Elouise Montgomery of Sumter; two sisters-in-law, Mary (James) Isaac of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Cook of Triangle, VA; one brother-in-law, Henry Cook of Camden; one uncle, Willie Champagne of Sumter, and a host of other relatives and friends. Randy Davis, 36, was born on August 26, 1984 in Sumter, to Deloris Holloman Davis and the late Raymond Davis, Sr. He departed this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home in Sumter. He attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Sumter High School. Randy worked at Pilgrim Pride in Sumter and Interlake as a Welder in Sumter. He was recently employed at LJS Solutions as a welder. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Deloris Davis; one sister, Laytoria (Charlie) Rutherford of Stafford, VA, three nieces and one nephew, all of Stafford, VA; four aunts, Barbara (Kevin) Pinkney of Columbia, Elouise Montgomery of Sumter, Mary (James) Isaac of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Cook of Triangle, VA; two uncles, Henry Cook of Camden and Willie Champagne of Sumter; special friend, Denise Watkins; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Marcus Davis, 32, was born on March 14, 1988 in Sumter, to Deloris Hollman Davis and the late Raymond Davis, Sr. He departed this life on Saturday, November14, 2020 at his home in Sumter. He attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Sumter High School. Marcus worked at Pilgrim Pride in Sumter. He was very calming, a gentleman and was expected to be a new father. He leaves to cherish their memories: his mother, Deloris Davis; one sister, Laytoria (Charlie) Rutherford of Stafford, VA; three nieces and one nephew, all of Stafford, VA; four aunts, Barbara (Kevin) Pinkney of Columbia, Elouise Montgomery of Sumter, Mary (James) Isaac of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Cook of Triangle, VA; two uncles, Henry Cook of Camden, Willie Champagne of Sumter; his girl friend, Myra Davis; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Due to the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by all relatives and friends during home visitation at 1008 Marilyn Avenue, Sumter. Graveside services will be held 11 a. m., Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church Yard Cemetery, 184 Lake Ashwood Road, Sumter, with the Reverend E. W. Frierson, pastor, officiating. The procession will leave the home at 10:20 a. m.
