Devin T. Davis, 24, son of the late George Spry, Jr. and Miranda Renee Davis-Choice, was born November 13, 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia. On Thursday, October 1, 2020 a quiet, gentle, caring and loving soul was rewarded his heavenly wings. Devin graduated from Crestwood High School in 2013. Devin was extremely close with his family and friends. He had a smile that would light up a room along with his affectionate laugh. He enjoyed playing football and basketball. Devin leaves these family members to cherish his memories: his mother, Miranda (Ronnie) Davis-Choice; brothers, Allente Davis and Jonathan Davis of Sumter, Bakari Choice; sisters, Monique Spry, Zakiya Choice and Asia Choice; grand father, Mitchell Dargan of Sumter; grandmother, Eva Spry of Manning; aunts, Wanda (Allen) Cody of Georgia, Kiki Dargan of Sumter, Lena Spry-Stukes of Summerville, Torwana Washington, Lori Hatcher and Michelle Hatcher; uncles, Gary Spry of Virginia, Dallas (Sandra) Webber, Maury Hatcher, James Nelson; a special friend, Brittany Lucas, along with a host of other family members and friends. In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 3825 Nicole Lane, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 – 2:00 p. m. in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Pastor Sarah Bennett, officiating. The procession will leave from the home at 1:30 p. m.
