Calvin “AKA Sally” Davis, 57, son of Calvin (Vertie) Davis and the late Rebecca Pearson-Davis, was born on May 16, 1963 in Bishopville. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. He was educated in the Lee County Public School District. Sally was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Holiness Church. He leaves to cherish his memories: six sisters, Victoria (Vernon) Wilson, Carrie Gibson, Rebecca (Robert) Mack, Rachelle Davis, Renee Davis and Delores (Leon) Woods; five brothers, Sammie Davis, Reginald Davis, Luke Kelly, Sammie Pearson and James Pearson; three aunts, Viola Wilson, Mary Jett and Sally Mae Gilbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 38 Elmore Road, Bishopville. Funeral services will be held 11 a. m., Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from the Mt. Calvary Holiness Church, 771 Central School Road, Rembert, with the Rev. Maggie Williams, Pastor, Eulogist, the Rev. Ernest Frierson, Pastor of Mechanicsville United Methodist Church, Presiding. The procession will leave the home at 10:20 a. m.
