Rosa Lee Wheeler, 62, departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at her home in Sumter. Born in Sumter County, October 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel Rouse Sr. and Julia Moore Rouse. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She was a former cook at Fat Boys and was loved by everyone she ever cross paths with. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Jessica Moore of Columbia, Natasha Rouse of Sumter; two sons, Rondrell (Christina) Moore of Sumter, Tommy “Tom” Wheeler, Jr. of the home; five sisters, Annette Davis, Betty, Cynthia, Wanda and Latonya Rouse, all of Sumter; two brothers, Jerry (Wanda) Rouse, Emmanuel Rouse, Jr. of Sumter; twelve grandchildren; two aunts, Sue Mae Wells and Francis Peterson; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 711 Brockington Street, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p. m., today, March 5, 2020 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 182 South Pike East, Sumter, with the Rev. Aurelia G. Hill, pastor, Rev. Mary C. Myers, eulogist. The Remains will be place in the church at 2:00 p. m. The funeral procession will leave the home at 2:20 p. m. Burial will be in the White’s Cemetery, Airport Road, Sumter.
