Dorothy M. Baldwin, 84, wife of Daniel Baldwin, departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born July 1, 1935, in Jefferson, ALA, she was the daughter of the late Willis Coleman and Essie Sanders. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband; two daughters, Dyanne Hill of Dayton, Ohio and Lisa Lawson of Rembert; two sons, Richard Lawson, Jr. of Sumter and John Lawson of Dalzell; one sister, Beatrice Hertz of Birmingham, ALA; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. Memorial services will be held today, February 4, 2020 – 6 p. m. at High Hill A. M. E. Church, 6780 Meeting House Road, Dalzell, with the Rev. Keith R. Mayes, Sr., pastor, eulogist.
