God claim his own, Harley Ford, Jr., 72, on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Myrtle Beach Hospice House, Myrtle Beach. Born November 15, 1946 in Sumter County, he was the son of Harley Ford, Sr. and Erlene Canty Ford. He received his formal education in the public schools of Sumter County and was employed for Furniture Warehouse for many years. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 35 years, Lidden Ann Brunson Ford; three daughters, Brittany Ford, Victoria Williams and Patty (Kenneth) Billie; one brother, Roosevelt Ford, all of Sumter; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home 404 Silver Street, Sumter. Homegoing Services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 11 a. m. from the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc. 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Bishop Jeffery Johnson, officiating, eulogist. The funeral procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m.
