Tracie “Sall” Lavonne Sanders, 51, departe4d this earthly life on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Providence Health Hospital, Columbia. Born on January 25, 1968, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Earlene Dinkins Sanders. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and a graduate of Hillcrest High School, Class of 1987. Tracie’s Christian life teaching began at an early age at Rafting Creek Baptist Church, Rembert. She later moved her membership to Pine Grove AME Church under the leadership of Pastor Dinkins. Tracie leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Zedrick (Cierre) Sanders of Sumter; one brother, Derrick (Deborah) Sanders of Pike Road, Alabama; five grandchildren, Jaquett Wright, Zakira, Zyrianna, Zedrick Jr. and Zerrick Sanders; five godchildren, Santana, Shantisa, Ke’Era, Aireal, Dwaine; twelve aunts, Susie (Paul) Grant, Shirley Pittman, Elease Gravett, Ernestine Dinkins, Ezone Govan, all of Maryland, Deborah (Daniel) Harris of Garner, N. C., Louise (Melvin) Keith, Polly (Robert Lee) Dinkins of Rembert, Doreatha Alston, Ruby Mae Richardson, Martha Dennis, Peggy (Donald) Perry of Columbia; five uncles, Walter (Mary) Dinkins of Winston Salem, N. C., Robert Lee Dinkins, Robert Pollard and Marion Sanders, all of Rembert, Thomas Dinkins of Maryland; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of her son, 31 White Street, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held today, February 5, 2019 at 2 p. m. from the Pine Grove A. M. E. Church, 41 Pine Grove Road, Rembert, with the Rev. Lorenzo Dinkins, pastor, eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 1 p. m. Burial will be in the Pine Grove A. M. E. Church Cemetery.
