Katina Monique Lasheay Hunter, 29, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, due to an automobile accident. Born September 29, 1988, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of Katherine Hunter Generette. “Tina”, as she was affectionately called, was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She was a graduate of Crestwood High School, Class of 2008. She was employed at Graham’s JKS Academy, where she enjoyed working with children. Katina’s Christian life teachings began at an early age at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, Rembert, where she was a member of the youth choir and praise dance team. Katina leaves to cherish her precious memories: her mother, Katherine of the home; her step grandfather, Isiah Scott whom reared her in his home; three sons, Na’shon, Dionelle Jr. and Diondrae, and one daughter, Danielle Anderson, all of the home; her fiancé, Dionelle Anderson, Sr.; two sisters, Rachelle and Ikeyta Hunter of Sumter; one brother, Carzelle Generette of the home; two godmothers, Alice Dennis and Tracie Sanders of Sumter; one niece, Trinity Jenkins; one nephew, J’marrion Hunter; three special cousins, Jerrilynn Wilson, Alicia Luciano and Markquise Hunter; a very special friend, Natashiac Pierson; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 5165 Dais Road, Rembert. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018, 2 p. m, from the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 7355 Camden Highway, Rembert, with the Rev. Anthony L. Taylor, Sr., pastor, eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the Church at 1 p. m. The procession will leave at 1:20 p. m. from the home. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Yard Cemetery.
