Mrs. Willie Mae Williams Clyburn, age 74, went home to be with her heavenly father on Monday, February 5, 2018. Born June 7, 1943, Mrs. Clyburn was a resident of Sumter, South Carolina and attended Sumter County Public Schools. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Albert Williams Sr. and the late Mrs. Mamie White Williams and was married to the late Mr. William Clyburn Jr. She is survived by seven children, Ms. Debra Clyburn Wilson of Sumter, South Carolina, Mr. William Clyburn III. (Joan) of Columbia, South Carolina, Mrs. Terrie Clyburn McClam (Melvin) of Sumter, South Carolina, Mr. Brent L. Clyburn Sr. (Tracy) of Sumter, South Carolina, Mr. Orlando T. Clyburn of Greenwood, South Carolina, Mrs. Fernaundra Clyburn Brooks (Henry) of Sumter, South Carolina, and Mrs. Andrietta Clyburn Atkinson (Dawain) of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Mack and Ms. Minnie Williams both of Sumter, South Carolina, and Mrs. Bertha Washington of New York, New York; two brothers, Mr. James White of Bellglade, Florida, and Mr. Albert Williams, Jr. of Sumter, South Carolina; one sister in law, Mrs. Louise Monroe of Rowland, North Carolina; one aunt, Mrs. Lillie Mae Shaw of Sumter, South Carolina; a special granddaughter, Raychaunda Wilson of Sumter, South Carolina; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Clyburn worked at Campbell Soup for over 35 years where she retired and afterwards worked at Security Management. She enjoyed driving, traveling, cooking, ironing, ceramic pottery, fashion, reading the newspaper and attending gospel music programs. She faithfully drove the church van for many years and brought many children and families to church. Her faithfulness has led many to Christ. She was a member of and served at New Life Bible Church for over 40 years where Pastors Rev. George Johnson, Rev. Nate Brock, and Rev. Paul Brown were her spiritual leaders. While in Greenville she attended Sacrifice of Praise Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Andre Wicker. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mr. Johnathan Williams, Mr. Eddie Williams, and Mr. Freddie Williams. The family will be receiving visitors at 3101 Daufaskie Road, Sumter, SC 29150. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10 at 11 a. m. from the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 155 Wall Street, Sumter SC 29150, with the Rev. Larry C. Weston, pastor, the Rev. George Johnson, presiding. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10:00 a. m. for viewing until time of service. The funeral procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m. Burial services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park 2445 Cains Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 21953 immediately following the funeral service.
