Nathan China, 51, died on Friday, October 20, 2017, at his home. Born February 3, 1966, in Sumter County, he was the son of the late Lawson China, Jr. and Barbara Ann James China. He graduated from Sumter High School, Class of 1986. Nathan received a degree for welding which enabled him to work at Interlake Material Handling and he also did yard work for many years until he became disabled. Survivors left to cherish his memories: his wife, Selena Smiling China; two daughters, Senatra and Selandria China, and a son Natron (Alexis) China, all of Sumter; a granddaughter, Kayla Brown of Sumter; a sister, Vickie China (Christopher) Green of Sumter; five brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, 1 p. m., from the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Bro. Willie Miller, officiating, eulogist. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home of his sister, Vickie (Christopher) Green, 833 Club Lane, Sumter. The Procession will leave at 12:20 p. m. from the home. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
