Louise Green Jennings, 97, affectionately known as “Wese”, answered the call of her heavenly Father on November 21, 2020 at Kershaw Health Memorial Hospital, Camden. Louise was born in Lee County to the late Henry and Louise Cabbagestalk Green. She attended Woodrow School and then went on to become the wife of Burnell Brown Jennings and the mother of seven children. Early in life, she became a member of Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church. In 1985, she then attended The Living Church in the Lord Jesus of Apostolic Faith in McBee until she was no longer able to attend. She then reinstated her membership at Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church. Her legacy of love will live on through the lives of her children and family. She is survived by her three children, Eva B. King (Harry), Ralph Jennings (Cheryl) and Dorothy Jennings; nine grandchildren; one devoted grandchild, Kevin Jennings; one sister-in-law, Allean Jennings, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 2700 Rembert Branch Road, Dalzell. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p. m, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden, Pear Street, Woodrow, with the Rev. Dr. Ralph L. Brown, pastor of Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, presiding, Bishop B. L. James, eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 1:30 p. m.
