Welcome to Williams Funeral Home

Jacqueline Yvette Williams, 55, was born on December 12, 1964 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Jerry C. Williams, Sr. and Myrtle V. Williams. After her last earthly loan payment was made, God called her home on February 29, 2020. Jackie, as she was affectionately known, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Sumter. She was a proud graduate of Hamilton High School and Grand Canyon University receiving a B S in Special Education in which she loved working with special needs children. Jackie could easily steal your heart as she did to many with her contagious smile and words of wisdom. A stranger she never met and a helping hand she always had to offer. She was deeply committed to family life and especially devoted to her children. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: two children, Jeremy Williams and Staria Williams; one brother, Jerry C. Williams, Jr. (Michele) of Magnolia, TX; four sisters, Flora Wallace of Memphis, TN, Anita Williams James of Dallas, TX, Deborah (Sylvester Boyd) of Martin, TN and LaTanja Smith of Clarksville, TN; one grandchild, Gregory; special friends, Carl Williams and Johnny Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 – 5 p. m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 155 Wall Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Larry C. Weston, pastor.
