Raymond T. Davis, Jr., 37, son of Raymond Davis, Sr. and Deloris Holloman Davis, was born on January 12, 1983 in Sumter County. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. He attended the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Sumter High School, Class of 2002. He was a member of Mechanicsville United Methodist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents; one sister, Laytoria (Charlie) Rutherford of Stafford, VA; two brothers, Randy Davis and Marcus Davis of the home; three nieces and one nephew all of Stafford, VA; four aunts, Mary (James) Isaac of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Cook of Triangle, VA, Barbara (Kevin) Pinkney and Elouise Montgomery, both of Sumter; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 1008 Marilyn Avenue, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held 11 a. m., Tuesday, January 4, 2020 from the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church, 184 Lake Ashwood Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Ernest Frierson, pastor, eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10 a. m. The procession will leave from the home at 10:20 a. m. Burial will be in the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church Yard Cemetery.
