Ethel Mae “Toot” Bell, 80, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at McLeod Hospice Facility, Florence. Born May 1, 1939, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Ethel Green Bell. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She will be lovingly remembered by: three sisters, Lillian (Eddie) McBride of Alcolu, Thelma Mae Bell and Rosa Prince of Sumter; two brothers, Gus Bell of Sumter and David Bell of Alcolu; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 10 Rolling Creek Drive, Sumter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, 2 P. M., from the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Alonza A. Washington, officiating, eulogist. The funeral procession will leave from the home at 1:20 p. m. Burial will be in the Billie Cemetery, Alcolu.
